I am an archaeologist who works primarily on the Paleoindian period in the Americas. In my research I have used stone tool assemblages and radiocarbon dates to investigate population history, interactions, and culture change. I also have an interest in understanding the processes responsible for the evolution of cultural diversity. My fieldwork has been focused on the excavation of Paleoindian sites in the Southern Plains and Southwest regions of the United States. Currently, I am pursuing a new fieldwork project in northeastern British Columbia.
